“Is Tamara home?” It’s been a decade since we first heard those chilling words as the prelude to terrifying slaughter, but the Strangers are back in theaters this year with the long-developed sequel The Strangers: Prey at Night and you better believe Dollface is up to her old tricks. (ie, being creepy, stabbing people, etc.) Today, we’re happy to debut the first clip from Prey at Night, featuring the return of that hair-raising question.
Directed by 47 Meters Down helmer Johannes Roberts, working from a script by Bertino and Ben Ketai, Strangers: Prey at Night follows a family on the road trip from hell. At the peak of their dysfunction, the family of four heads to a secluded mobile home park to visit relatives and find themselves face to face with Dollface, Pinup Girl, and Baghead; the trio of merciless masked murderous on the hunt for new prey. Chaos, violence, and extra-creepy cat-and-mouse ensue.
