The first trailer for the Jonathan Mostow sci-fi thriller “The Surrogates” has been released and it’s after the jump. If you’re a fan of “I Robot”, “The Matrix” and “Strange Days”, you’re probably going to like this trailer.
If you haven’t heard of the film, “The Surrogates” stars Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike and it’s set in a future where most people don’t leave their homes. Instead, people live vicariously through their surrogates as they send them out to interact and work while they’re plugged – kind of like “The Matrix”. But when a murder happens in this idyllic society, Bruce Willis is forced to unplug and figure out what happened.

The movie definitely looks like it has potential.
I don’t want to get too excited about it so I’m not disappointed, but the trailer has made me optimistic.
And since Bruce Willis is in it, I’ll be seeing it either way.
