After the devastating revelations in “Things We Lost in the Fire,” The Vampire Diaries is clearly not ready to let viewers off the hook emotionally yet. In “Postcards from the Edge,” Damon (Ian Somerhalder) falls under Julian’s (Todd Lasance) influence and starts to spiral out of control. While Stefan (Paul Wesley) is not about to give up on his brother (you can read more about their bond here), he also has other problems on his hands. As you’ll see in this exclusive clip below, Caroline (Candice King) is starting to feel the effects of her supernatural pregnancy in a frightening way. Check it out:
“I love you …” “Are you talking to me, or the fries?” “Do you want me to lie to you?” Kind of ridiculously cute there … until it all takes a turn!
Though we don’t know what’s going to take place next in “Postcards from the Edge,” we did recently find out that Caroline will be playing an integral role in the upcoming Vampire Diaries and Originals crossover episode when Stefan goes to New Orleans and “comes face to face” with Klaus (Joseph Morgan). But, there’s obviously a lot that will be happening before that.
As for series’ future and the rumors that an end might be coming soon, Ian Somerhalder told Christina Radish recently that when it comes to talking about that end point, “It’s so much information to process that I don’t know how we’d even go about that right now. Right now, we’re just trying to get through this season.”
Check out the full episode synopsis below. The Vampire Diaries airs Friday nights on the CW.
