Comic-Con 2012 is nearly upon us, and we’ll have plenty to report from The Walking Dead panel in Hall H. But until then, AMC has debuted something that will quench your thirst for zombie blood spilling. A marathon of The Walking Dead, including a black and white version of the pilot, dominated the network over the weekend, complete with previews of the forthcoming third season. One such clip gave us our first look at Michionne (Danai Gurira) in action, slicing and dicing one unlucky walker, and it’s already found its way online. The new characters should help shake things up a bit, especially in the wake of all the series regular deaths from last season. But that’s not all. AMC has something for Breaking Bad fans too. More details after the jump.
In addition, AMC has also unveiled a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Breaking Bad, complete with series creator Vince Gilligan and cast members like Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul talking about what we can expect from this coming fifth season (which just debuted a new trailer not too long ago). It’s a great look at the beginning of the end since this final season is being split up over two summers. The first half begins on July 15th and the last eight episodes will air in the summer of 2013. It’ll be sad to see our favorite drug dealers disappear, but it looks like one hell of a conclusion.
