Sadly, Breaking Bad comes to an end this Sunday with the show’s 75-minute series finale.  While it will be tough to say goodbye to such a brilliant series, AMC will attempt to ease the pain very shortly with the season four premiere of The Walking Dead on October 13th.  In anticipation of the debut, the network has released a large batch of high-resolution images from the upcoming season, as well as some nifty promo images of the main castmembers—including newcomer Larry Gilliard Jr. (The Wire) as Bob Stookey.

Hit the jump to peruse the images.  Season four of The Walking Dead begins on AMC Sunday, October 13th.

I feel as though any smart large group of people hiding from walkers behind a fence should set up mandatory 2 hour shifts where a team of two people call the walker to the fence and then stab them through it and have that be a never ending cycle day in and day out. There are at least 50 million walkers in the country and there is no hope for their salvation. Kill them and be done with it, it is one less walker to have to fight when the walls collapse.

Also on a side note, the reality of why there is no child walkers in this show, bar Sophia and the girl from the opening moment is rather depressing. Sure you could argue that a child actor coudlnt’ properly play dead but in context of the show there has to be reason for never seeing a child in it. Carl, Duanne, Sophia, Judith, those kids from that first season of those dumbass parents that decided to leave the group, that baby in the arms of the mother in the car that daryl and merle saved on the bridge, the girl from the opening moments of the show, the two children from the first webisodes and a few little kids seen in the trailer of season 4 do not count for every child in the state of Georgia. The only real explanation as to where the others have all gone is that they are the perfect bite size snack which is rather sad to think about.

Also, I was really impressed with how much chandler riggs stepped up his game last season, hopefully he’s even better with another year under his belt. Carl’s killing of the boy was the only interesting plot point of the finale I want to see more of moving forward.

I think the reason why there are no child walkers has to do with violence. You just can’t have little zombie kids running around that they would have to kill. People would get crazy over that.

Ya I get that, and I kind of touched on how in terms of the show, child walkers aren’t possible from an acting point of view. I just meant within the universe not within the show there should be dead kids walking around.

Rick does love shooting zombie kids though.

Why are all the black people huddled together near the bottom ?

Why are all the white people huddled together near the top?

Why are all the Asian people just one guy in the middle?

This show stopped being good after the first half of season 2. No one can sit there and honestly say Season 3 was any good. NOTHING HAPPENED!? They are still in the prison doing the same thing. It’s boring.

The show’s terrible in its writing, and relies way too heavily on the blood and kills, but damn Glenn you’re one lucky man for having Maggie during such crazy times.
