The first trailer for Doug Liman's new feature The Wall is now available. The story centers on two soldiers pinned down in the middle of the desert by an Iraqi sniper with nothing but a crumbling brick wall for cover. Liman, known for taut action films like The Bourne IdentityMr. & Mrs. Smith, and Edge of Tomorrow, finds himself restricted to a solitary setting in a sparse environmental. If the trailer is to be believed, that setup not only puts a ton of pressure on the filmmaker and actors to get creative while working within these limitations, it will also transfer that tension to the audience who will feel every second of this sniper vs. sniper stand-off. This one looks promising.

Amazon Studios is partnering with Roadside Attractions once again to distribute its highly anticipated deadly psychological thriller The Wall, directed by Liman and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John CenaThe Wall will be released by Roadside Attractions on March 10, 2017.
