An extended, behind-the-scenes featurette for The Water Diviner has provided a first look at Russell Crowe's upcoming directorial debut.  The story centers on an Australian man (Crowe) who travels to Turkey to attempt to locate the bodies of his three sons, who were killed there during WWI.  The featurette is narrated by Crowe, and his passion for the material really comes through.  Even though this is only his first feature, it looks like he's come up with something that has a grand scope but retains its focus on the intimate character drama.  This is definitely one I'm going to be keeping on my radar, and although it doesn't currently have a release date, I hope we'll get to see it soon.
