Just in time for Thanksgiving, Paramount Pictures has released two new TV spots for director Martin Scorsese’s darkly comedic drama The Wolf of Wall Street.  Based on the memoir of Jordan Belfort, the stranger-than-fiction pic stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a hard-partying, drug-addicted stockbroker who was indicted in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering and served a 22-month federal prison stretch.  These new TV spots show off a bit of new footage from the film, but at a reported runtime of nearly three hours, there’s no need to worry about spoiling a significant amount of the movie.

Hit the jump to watch the TV spots.  The film also stars Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Kyle Chandler, Jon Bernthal, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, and Rob ReinerThe Wolf of Wall Street opens in theaters Christmas Day.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Wolf of Wall Street:

Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio).   From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s.  Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Money.  Power.  Women.  Drugs.  Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant.  For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.
