New Clip for THE WOLVERINE Features Bones Claws, Bombs and "Bub" Plus a New Featurette on Yukio

A new clip from James Mangold's THE WOLVERINE features bone claws, B-29 bombers and Hugh Jackman calling someone "Bub." THE WOLVERINE opens July 26.

A new clip and featurette for James Mangold's The Wolverine are now online. The clip features Logan (Hugh Jackman) showing off his bone claws and calling his prison guard "Bub" before saving him from a B-29 bombing run. The featurette highlights Rila Fukushima's capable character Yukio, showing off a variety of her weapon skills. It looks like the two will be paired up for a good portion of the film so hopefully the chemistry we're seeing in this featurette continues.

Also starring Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Tao Okamoto and Svetlana Khodchenkova, The Wolverine opens in 3D on July 26th. Watch the new clip and featurette after the jump.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Wolverine:

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
