New photos continue to leak out from the set of The Wolverine.  We’ve seen Logan (Hugh Jackman) in the cold, in a Japanese POW camp, in a city, looking like a hobo, and, in the first official image, ripped as hell.  Today, the new images show Jackman and co-star Rila Fukushima (who plays Yukio) filming scenes in Sydney’s Chinese Garden of Friendship.  One of the images show that Wolverine has been injured in the leg, but I’m sure that will heal up nicely because, you know…Wolverine.

Hit the jump to check out the images.  The film also stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, and Tao OkamotoThe Wolverine opens July 26, 2013.

  1. If memory serves, he’s in a japanese bar in one of the post-credit scenes at the end of Origins: Wolverine. Now, I don’t know if they intended to keep that temporal continuity with this film, or not. Unless this film takes place earlier and mostly in flashback, I would say it’s taking place in the late 80s- early 90s.

    • Mmm late 90′s he’s getting in an audi r8…your looking 2007 onwards there and the plates are japanese so its part of tbe movie. I cant work how the time lines fit either…..

  2. somebody here told that the Wolverine movie is a good Logan movie, meaning most of his screen time in the movie is not in costume…so i really looking forward seeing him more on his costume…than in leather jacket…
