Earlier this week, we told you about the virtual pub crawl that could lead to you an early screening of Edgar Wright's The World's End at Comic-Con.  The pub crawl is a reference to "The Golden Mile" the characters must travel in the movie.  There are twelve pubs, and twelve movie websites are each getting an exclusive bar sign.  The first four sites have revealed the bar signs for "The First Post", "The Old Familiar", "The Famous Cock", and "The Cross Hands".  So how does this get you into a screening if you're going to be at Comic-Con?  Because the bar signs will be on trading cards that you can find if you're at Comic-Con and following @TheGoldenMileCC and The World's End on Facebook.  Collect all 12 cards by traversing the Gaslamp District, be among the first 50 to complete "The Golden Mile", and you can win seats to the early screening.

Hit the jump for four of the signs you're going to want to look out for.  The film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Rosamund PikeThe World’s End opens August 23rd.

Here’s the official synopsis for The World’s End:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.  They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End.  As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s.  Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
