A trailer has leaked online for Terry Gilliam’s upcoming film, The Zero Theorem.  The film stars Christoph Waltz as Qohen Leth, a computer hacker who searches for the meaning of life while being distracted by Management, a shadowy figure from an Orwellian corporation.  Going through the trailer, there’s no doubt it’s a Gilliam movie.  If anyone else’s name were on it, it would be immediately cited as a rip-off rather than a welcome return for the director.  Using a lounge-y rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep”, the trailer makes the film look like a welcome return to Brazil completely with an intimate love story set inside a bombastic, absurd, and imaginative setting.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  The film also stars Melanie Thierry, Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, and David ThewlisThe Zero Theorem may surface during the fall festival season. [Update: We’ve removed the trailer at the request of the production company.]
