Krige, who is perhaps best known for her portrayal as the Borg Queen in Star Trek: First Contact, made mention of her small role in the upcoming Thor sequel while at a Star Trek convention.  She also alluded to being unrecognizable, suggesting that she’ll either be in extensive make-up and prosthetics or possibly, a computer-generated character.  CBM is postulating that Krige would play Alflyse, the queen of the Dark Elves and the Svartalfheim realm, as it was recently reported that Christopher Eccleston would be joining Thor: The Dark World as Malekith the Accursed, ruler of Svartalfheim.  Stay tuned!

Wilson, who burst onto the scene with Bridesmaids and has recently landed roles in What to Expect When You’re Expecting and Ice Age: Continental Drift, is now expected to lead the quirky indie comedy, Unicorn Store.  As Variety reports, the logline for the picture is still hush hush and it may not even be Arteta’s next project, as he just signed on to direct 47 Rules of Highly Effective Bank Robbers. Wilson can next be seen in the a cappella comedy, Pitch Perfect, as well as Michael Bay’s upcoming picture, Pain and Gain.

THR reports that the two-time Daytime Emmy-nominated Minshew will play Madeline, “an artist who lives in Georgia and catches the eye of a psychiatrist (Lauren) visiting from India. However, as the duo begin to develop a relationship, the psychiatrist is sent home to India to marry a woman chosen for him by his parents.”   Kicklighter will direct the picture when production starts in Savannah, Georgia this Monday. Production will eventually move to India, where Kicklighter's co-director Rathi will help with cultural differences, similar to Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan's efforts on Slumdog Millionaire.
