At the recent New York City press day, I landed a video interview with Freudenthal. He talked about how he landed the job, what it was like to work with a much bigger budget, making sure certain things from the books made it into the movie, future projects, and more. Hit the jump to watch.
- How did he land the job
- What was it like working with a much bigger budget
- When they were putting the film together in pre-production, did they have any material from the books that he said had to be in the movie.
- Is Scavengers still his next project? Said they just turned in the recent daft to the studio and calls it a “comedy with adventure.”
