The cast and crew of Thor 3 are hard at work preparing for the eponymous Ragnarok, a.k.a. the end of days. Chris Hemsworth, playing the Asgardian Avenger, posted a video of his arrival on set, while Mark Ruffalo goofed off with his own, legitimate Hulk hands. Now the Bruce Banner actor has revealed another look at himself wearing his “legendary, man-canceling” motion-capture suit, as Tessa Thompson arrives on set to film her role of Valkyrie.

A dotted-up Ruffalo posted a selfie video to Instagram while waiting to shoot scenes as the Hulk on set. “It’s glamorous, but someone has to do it,” he said. It’s unclear where we will next find the giant green rage monster, though there’s a report floating around linking him to Jeff Goldblum’s The Grandmaster. In any case, Ruffalo previously teased Thor: Ragnarok as an intergalactic road trip movie with Thor.

Elsewhere, Thompson has officially arrived on set to film her scenes. The actress, who gave strong performances in the indie Dear White People and the Rocky continuation Creed, will portray Valkyrie, a warrior woman tasked by Odin to ferry souls to the afterlife in Valhalla. Thompson posted a fan-made image of her as the character to Instagram, writing, “Inspired by all the Warriors leading movements in the very real world right now.” Thor: Ragnarok, directed by Taika Waititi (Hunt for the Wilderpeople), also features Cate Blanchette as the main villain, Hela, a powerful sorceress and ruler of the realm of the dead. Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins reprise their roles, while the cast also includes Star Trek Beyond’s Karl Urban as Skurge. Plot details haven’t been officially released, but it’s not too difficult to see what will befall Asgard from the title of the film. Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for release on November 3, 2017.
