James Corden's Late Late Show might be most famous for their "Carpool Karaoke" viral videos, but from time to time, Corden also has some fun with visiting actors by re-enacting bits from their most memorable films. Shot in front of a blue screen, past "Role Call" segments have seen Corden revisiting the careers of Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, and others.

This week, Corden's "Role Call" segment paired him with Tom Cruise who was in the studio promoting his new Jack Reacher sequel Jack Reacher: Never Go Back which will be released this weekend. The segment began with Corden and Cruise doing bits from Top Gun and Days of Thunder, and then they took on Rain Man, Tropic Thunder, War of the Worlds, Minority Report, and more, including a hilarious take-off on the plane bit from the latest Mission: Impossible film. Very few Cruise films are spared -- even Cocktail, Interview with the Vampire, Eyes Wide Shut, and Rock of Ages are included, and a re-enactment of the "dancing in the house" from Risky Business might be one of the segment's most amusing moments.

Corden might not get everything right, though: One of the more memorable parts of this "Role Call" segment might be a surprise appearance by one of Cruise's Jerry Maguire co-stars who instructs Corden on the right way to tell someone to "show me the money." You can watch the entire segment below:

It is obvious that, as with the musicians who do "Carpool Karaoke" with Corden, a good time was had by the participants, and more segments like this are probably to be expected in the future.

Jack Reacher: Never Goes Back is released worldwide this Friday, October 21. The film, directed by Edward Zwick (Legends of the Fall), also stars Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge, Patrick Heusinger, and Robert Knepper. The Late Late Show with James Corden airs nightly on CBS.
