Following Sunday's Super Bowl spot, three new Tomorrowland images have been released via the film's official website, TakeMeToTomorrowland.com.Scripted by director Brad Bird and Lost alum Damon Lindelof, the film stars George Clooney and revolves around “a bright, optimistic teen (Britt Robertson) bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment who embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as "Tomorrowland."So far, Disney is keeping the film mostly under wraps.  The footage has been intriguing, but doesn't really tell us anything, and that's a big deal considering that the film isn't an adaptation/remake/sequel.  These new images only tell us that we're in for a big, sci-fi fantasy filled with gorgeous architecture and important highway infrastructure.tomorrowlandtomorrowland-1tomorrowland-2Here's the official synopsis for Tomorrowland:

Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, “Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.

The film also stars Hugh Laurie as brilliant scientist David Nix, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.

“Tomorrowland” is produced by Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird and Jeffrey Chernov and directed by Brad Bird, with John Walker, Brigham Taylor, Jeff Jensen and Bernard Bellew serving as executive producers. “Tomorrowland” opens in U.S. theaters on May 22, 2015.
