Tony-Goldwyn-Ashley-Judd-Divergent-interview

With Divergent opening this weekend, I recently landed an exclusive video interview with Tony Goldwyn and Ashley Judd.  During the interview they talked about working with director Neil Burger, the level of detail in the costumes and sets, the way they like to work, and more

For those unfamiliar, the film is based on the Veronica Roth novel of the same name and takes place in a society where people are divided into factions based on their personalities.  Tris (Shailene Woodley) is a young girl who doesn’t fit into any of the pre-assigned groups and faces grave consequences due to her status as a “Divergent.”  Hit the jump to watch the interview.  Divergent also stars Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Ray StevensonZoe Kravitz, Maggie QBen Lloyd-HughesChristian Madsen, and Kate Winslet.

If you missed our exclusive video interviews with Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, or Miles Teller and Jai Courtney, click the links.

Tony Goldwyn and Ashley Judd:

  • They talk about working with Neil Burger and what attracted them to the project.
  • How the costumes and sets were really well done.
  • How do they like to work on set (how many takes)?
