Totally Bad-Ass New Trailer for CLASH OF THE TITANS Starring Sam Worthington

The teaser trailer for Clash of the Titans was good, but this new trailer for the film is fucking amazing and probably one of the best I’ve seen all year.  The tagline “Titans Will Clash” in the teaser was pretty cheesy but the tagline “Damn The Gods” should be tattooed onto MMA fighters or something.  There’s such a grand scale to this thing and unlike today’s trailer for Alice in Wonderland, it doesn’t feel like “Hey!  We have special effects!  They’re expensive!”  It makes the world feel epic and that falls in line with what I’ve heard from various sources that the movie is Lord of the Rings-esque.  Also, every trailer should end with the line, “Release the Kraken.”  I would have liked that Hot Tub Time Machine trailer so much more if it had just ended with the line, “Release the Kraken.”

Oh, and if you’re one of those people who wants to bitch that the trailer has rock music, shut up.  You can’t make a trailer that rocks this hard visually and then set it to a lyre and a piccolo.

Head over to Apple.com to see the new trailer and hit the jump for the official synopsis.  Clash of the Titans hits theaters on March 26, 2010.
For those just tuning in, here’s the official synopsis:

In “Clash of the Titans,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

LORDY!!!!!!!! That looks like my number 1 film next year! Stunning!
Hope its not all rock music though, suited 300, but I was hoping for some sweeping epic music like the original film.
    Still, DAMN fine so far!

When the trailer was release before been officiality, my mind goes blow! This is a rare case when a remake does right!
