Pixar has released a 30-second sneak peek of their upcoming animated short Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation. The premise of the six-minute short is that Barbie and Ken are planning to go to Hawaii, but Ken messes up the plans and has to re-create a Hawaiian vacation experience inside Bonnie’s bedroom.
Hit the jump to check out 1/12th of Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation. The short will be attached to Cars 2, which opens in 3D on June 24th.
EW recently ran an interview with the short’s director, Gary Rydstrom. I think the interview is on the spoiler-y side, especially when you consider the length of the short. However, if you don’t mind spoilers and want to know how various Toy Story characters fit into the story, click here.
