Okay, if you ignore the overused classic rock tunes and your knowledge that watching people on drugs pales in comparison to actually being on drugs, the trailer for “Mr. Nice” [via MySpace] actually looks like an interesting premise. Despite running over three minutes in length, it airs everything so disjointed that you don’t feel like you’ve been shown the whole movie and you’re anxious to put it all together. They’re trying to set it up in the vein of a film like “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” where Rhys Ifans plays Howard Marks, a notorious drug dealer who says he worked with the CIA, MI6, the Mafia, and the IRA. That’s a good vein to be in.
UPDATE: We have removed the trailer at the request of the producers. We will bring you cleared material as soon as it is available.
