We’re going to get the Blu-rays of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 much sooner than I expected, with a new trailer released today and Pixar Talk reporting that they’ll be released on March 23rd. The trailer reveals that both films will have brand new special features. While it remains unknown if they’ll include the special features from the previous releases, Pixar Talk says that it’s likely based on the Blu-ray re-releases of other Pixar movies. If you check out the Amazon page for each film, you’ll see that it’s a combo pack which includes the DVD and the Blu-ray. What’s interesting is that unlike the recent Blu-ray re-release of Monster’s, Inc., there no word (yet) about the inclusion of a digital copy. But we’re getting both Toy Story movies in less than three months so there’s no reason to complain.
