Trainwreck debuted as a work-in-progress at SXSW back in March, but hopefully Judd Apatow hasn't changed much since because the cut screened there was fantastic. Amy Schumer wrote the script and also stars as Amy, a young professional living in New York City who firmly believes that monogamy isn’t realistic. However, that changes when she starts to fall for the subject that she's writing a magazine article about - the super sweet and successful sports doctor Aaron Conners (Bill Hader).
With the film's July 17th nationwide release fast approaching, Universal just unveiled a whole batch of hi-res Trainwreck pictures featuring Schumer and Hader as well as co-stars Brie Larson, John Cena, Tilda Swinton, LeBron James and Vanessa Bayer. You can see them all for yourself below and, in case you missed it, click here to check out my Trainwreck review from SXSW.
Here's the official synopsis for Trainwreck:
Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo—enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment—but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.
