“Action!” is a word you’ll hear plenty of on movie sets, but when it comes to a Michael Bay movie, the adrenaline-fueled director takes the word very, very seriously. Bay has always been one to push the boundaries of filmmaking technology when it comes to his cameras, how he deploys them on set, and in the amount of punishment he puts them through. That trend continues with the filming of Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth film in the Paramount Pictures franchise that sees Bay at the helm once again. A new set video reveals an explosive stunt sequence in which Bay puts his new RED camera, dubbed “Bayhem”, through its paces.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Liam Garrigan, Jerrod Carmichael, Isabel Moner, Laura Haddock, Gil Birmingham, and Anthony Hopkins, Transformers: The Last Knight opens June 23, 2017.
