Michael Bay's Transformers franchise has certainly had some colorful characters over the years, though not all of them have been well received by moviegoing audiences. Classic characters like Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee have been remarkably successful while clunkers like Mudflap and Skids are better off forgotten. So it's to Transformers: The Last Knight that we turn our cautiously optimistic eye to see which Autobots and Decepticons Bay will rollout this time around.

If a recent social media reveal of a new character is any indication, Bay and Paramount Pictures may be taking some inspiration from a very successful Star Wars character by the name of BB-8. Meet Sqweeks, a bot with a practical build cobbled together from a baby blue Vespa. While it's undeniably cute, it's also presumably terrestrial and not part of the original Cybertronian tribe. Is this one of Cade Yeager's (Mark Wahlberg) creations, or perhaps a project from series newcomer, Izabella (Isabela Moner)? We'll find out when the fifth Transformers installment opens June 23, 2017.

Check out the new Transformer Sqweeks below, followed by a new video from the set featuring Duhamel in costume as Lt. Colonel William Lennox, a shot of the new, badass Barricade, and much more:
