Paramount has launched a new website for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and while there’s not much to explore yet, the homepage is decorated by a sharp logo. It looks good, incorporating the subtitular “dark of the moon” into the classic Transformers font.
Michael Bay has returned to direct the third Transformers film in 3D. Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich star — Transformers: Dark of the Moon hits theaters July 1, 2011.

The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Boring, cliche logo. Could have designed that in my sleep. But worst of all, if Roger Waters and David Gilmour license their eponymous song to a crappy, sell-out Michael Bay film, I will “burn” my Pink Floyd downloads.
I really do worry about people who enjoyed the 2nd Transformers film.
Look on the bright side though: those who enjoyed the 2nd film sure as hell don’t worry (or care) about you, or what you have to say on the web.
I love the internet
I am really looking forward to this. Huge fan of the first two films and I have to say that the new logo looks pretty good : )
