TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN Will Premiere At The LA Film Festival On June 22

On Monday June 22^nd the LA Film Festival will debut one of the summer’s most-anticipated blockbusters – “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”  That is a full two days before the rest of the country gets a gander at Michael Bay’s giant effing robots, for the calendar-impaired among you.  According to Film Independent (the org that runs the Fest and the Independent Spirit Awards), the “Transformers” sequel will screen in three different theatres – the Village, Bruin and Avco – midway through the event’s June 18-28 run.

The Festival played a similar role for Michael Bay’s first “Transformers” film two years ago, drawing over 4,500 robot fans to the film’s Festival premiere.  Seems only fitting that the sequel should follow a similar course.  So, if you live in the LA area and just cannot wait until Wednesday to reconnect with Sam Witwicki you can gain admittance to one of the three designated debut locations with the purchase of a Festival pass. Those will run you at least $60 bucks, if I am reading the website correctly, but I’m sure they’re worth it…
