As this is Easter weekend, it's only appropriate (or possibly wildly inappropriate) to bring you a trailer for a film with Jim Caviezel, a man who once played Jesus (The Passion of the Christ).  In the Antonio Negret (Seconds Apart) film, Transit, Caviezel must rise up (sorry) and protect his family from a group of armored car robbers.  The premise is based around Caviezel's character, Nate Sidwell, a man just released from prison who is taking his family on vacation and attempting to regain their trust. His plan goes awry when the aforementioned criminals covertly stash their stolen loot atop the Sidwell's car in order to sneak it past a roadblock. Transit, also starring James Frain, Harold Perrineau and Elisabeth Rohm, opens in limited release May 11th. Hit the jump to check out the trailer, which features a great look at the ever-lovely Diora Baird. Check out the UK trailer for Transit, one of the films in the After Dark Action series, after the following synopsis:

The family camping trip was meant to reunite the Sidwell family. It's not. After being imprisoned for tax evasion, Nate Sidwell has lost the respect of his wife and his children. Then when he suspects their truck is being followed, he gets arrested for aggressive driving and has to spend a night in jail. Just when it seems the trip cannot get any worse, the Sidwells discover $4,000,000 cash in their luggage rack, and that Nate was wrong. They aren't being followed. They're being hunted - by four ruthless killers, who will stop at nothing to retrieve their millions.
