Universal has released a new Trash trailer. The film is about young boys Rato (Gabriel Weinstein), Gardo (Eduardo Luis) and Raphael (Rickson Tevez), who get themselves into after finding a bag in the dump. You won’t get much more than that from this trailer, and it looks like the studio is struggling to find a way to sell a film where the only stars—Rooney Mara and Martin Sheen—are in supporting roles. Also, the movie has been sitting on the shelf for a while; it was released in Brazil on October 9th of last year, and it was almost exactly one year ago that we got the international trailer for this movie. Overall, this feels like half-hearted awards bait that’s ultimately going to vanish amongst bigger films.
