The first trailer for director Joel Schumacher’s thriller Trespass is now available online. Starring Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman, and Cam Gigandet, the film takes place in Kyle and Sarah Miller’s (Cage and Kidman) wealthy estate and centers around a home invasion that puts both of their lives and the life of their daughter (Liano Liberato) in jeopardy. I’m not one to constantly berate Schumacher for his fair share of mishaps, but I can’t help but think there is a reason Trespass is purportedly set to hit DVD and VOD platforms a little more than two weeks after its theatrical release. I can’t say for sure, but I think that reason is found somewhere in the midst of all the yelling the trailer contains.
Check out the trailer for yourself after the jump. Trespass opens to theaters on October 14th before hitting DVD and VOD on November 1st.

Here’s the official synopsis for Trespass:
In a private, wealthy community, priority is placed on security and no exception is made for the Miller family’s estate. Behind their pristine walls and manicured gardens, Kyle, a fast-talking businessman, has entrusted the mansion’s renovation to his stunning wife, Sarah. But between making those big decisions and keeping tabs on their defiant teenage daughter, Sarah often finds herself distracted by a young, handsome worker at their home. Nothing is what it seems, and it will take a group of cold-blooded criminals led by Elias, who have been planning a vicious home invasion for months, to bring the Miller family together. When they storm the manor, everyone is tangled up in betrayal, deception, temptation and scheming. Kyle, Sarah and Avery will take the ultimate risk to make it out with their lives — and their family — intact.

Well it was pretty typical but might be campy fun.
The twist would be that she’s sleeping with Cam’s character.. and she plans the whole damn thing.
The trailer should say “academy award winners Nicholas Cage and Nicole Kidman get a paycheck in Joel Schumacher’s Trespass” cause that’s all this is.
Look good. Not worse than the millions of action-thriller movies we have seen, I don’t understand tis negativity
a movie about opening a safe !!!
Serious uncanny valley vibes from that poster. Why do they insist on airbrushing all these posters so the stars look like mutated babies bottoms? Especially now in the era of HD, where every pock mark and wrinkle should be visable for all to see.
Take this to the bank folks … ( Like Kidman and Cage did with the dump truck load of money that got dumped in there front yards to do this piece of crap)
The daughter will be the one who planned this whole thing because she is in teen love with Cam’s Character and she finds out that her mom was sleeping with her boyfriend ! Boom ! Schumacher twist FTW
So this is Basically Joel Schumacher crappy little comeback film.
That crap should go straight to CT: Cassette Tape.
