If you fancy yourself a Walt Disney World completionist, you'd best start booking your tickets for China because Shanghai Disney is about to open in just a couple of days. One of the biggest (and fastest) attractions at the new park is based on Disney's TRON franchise, and will give visitors the ability to enter the Grid, ride a Lightcycle, and race through twists and turns modeled after the films themselves.

ABC News' Bob Woodruff was able to check out the "TRON Lightcycle Power Run" rollercoaster ahead of the park's official opening on June 16th and we have the video to prove it. It's one part rollercoaster and one part simulator, with riders straddling neon-blue motorcycles as they speed along a track that weaves through the open air at speeds topping 62mph, making it one of Disney's fastest attractions ever.

The LA Times had a chance to check out the park before its opening, as well, and called the Tron ride "jaw-droppingly beautiful and could set new standards for theme park attractions," a description also applied to the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure" experience.

The attraction's website itself invites visitors to "experience high-speed thrills and chills as the Grid comes alive in a heart-pounding race for survival. Created as a friendly way for “Programs” and “Users” to interact, the Power Run pits team against team in the quintessential quest to capture 8 Energy Gates and triumph over opponents."

They also spotlight the fantastic music and visual effects at work during the ride:

Adrenaline-pumping music, lights and 3-D graphics inspire a furious surge toward the winner’s circle. Traverse TRON’s electrifying multi-sensory environment as you speed, dip and dive through digitized darkness on one of the fastest indoor roller coasters in Disney theme park history.
