New Release Dates for TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE, HIT & RUN and THE CONJURING

  • Trouble with the Curve, starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake has moved up a week to September 21, 2012.
  • Hit & Run, written/starring/directed by Dax Shepard and also starring Kristen Bell and Bradley Cooper, will open August 22nd, 2012.
  • The Conjuring, previously titled The Warren Files, stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor, will open January 25th, 2013.

The Robert Lorenz film Trouble with the Curve stars Eastwood as “Gus, an aging Atlanta Braves scout (Go Braves!) with vision problems whose daughter, Mickey (Amy Adams), reluctantly agrees to be his eyes on a crucial recruiting trip.”  Timberlake co-stars as a young rival scout who respects Gus (and develops feelings for Mickey), alsongside John Goodman as the Braves’ clubhouse boss  and Matthew Lillard as a recruiter who “clashes with Gus over a green power hitter named Bo Gentry (newcomer Joe Massingill), so the veteran embarks on a road trip to follow Gentry and gather more information.”

The Conjuring, the new horror thriller from director James Wan (Insidious) features Farmiga and Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren, a married couple who has a long history of investigating paranormal claims.  More on this picture as it becomes available.

Hit & Run

Charlie Bronson, a former getaway driver busts out of the Witness Protection Program to drive his girlfriend to Los Angeles so she can land her dream job. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds, and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie’s former gang of criminals enter the fray.
