I have yet to see True Story. Matt didn't love it when he saw it at Sundance earlier this year but the trailer that hit back in December (which I only saw just now) and this new clip that popped up today have piqued my interest a bit. The movie looks dramatic and intense and I love true crime stuff, so I figure I'll give it a shot. This clip marks the first time Jonah Hill and James Franco's characters meet in the film, which is a bit uncomfortable since Franco is playing a murderer who appropriated the name of Hill's character.

Check out the True Story clip below. The film was directed by Rupert Goold and also stars Felicity Jones. It opens in theaters on April 17th.

Here's the official synopsis:

When disgraced New York Times reporter Michael Finkel (Jonah Hill) meets accused killer Christian Longo (James Franco) – who has taken on Finkel’s identity – his investigation morphs into an unforgettable game of cat-and-mouse.  Based on actual events, Finkel’s relentless pursuit of Longo’s true story encompasses murder, love, deceit and redemption.
