Wednesday TV Ratings: ARROW Surges to Series High; MODERN FAMILY Plummets to Season Low
TV ratings for Wednesday, December 3rd are in, though it appears that most folks were busy watching either the frustrating/depressing coverage of the non-indictment in the Eric Garner case or the Christmas Tree-lighting ceremony (such varied TV-viewing choices). Briefly:
- The CW’s conclusion to its big superhero crossover event culminated in a series high rating for Arrow (read Dave’s recap here), which rose five tenths to a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demo and scored 3.90 million viewers. The 100 matched its last original’s 0.6 rating and garnered 1.94 million viewers.
- Over on ABC, everything was down. Modern Family dropped nine tenths to a season low 2.8 rating and scored 8.99 million viewers, The Middle dropped six tenths to a series low-tying 1.6 rating and 7.15 million viewers, The Goldbergs dropped seven tenths to a season low 1.7 rating and scored 6.58 million viewers, black-ish fell half a ratings point to a series low 2.1 rating and 6.87 million viewers, and Nashville dropped two tenths to a season low-tying 1.3 rating and garnered 5.25 million viewers.
- CBS’ Stalker dropped a tenth to a 1.5 rating and scored 7.47 million viewers.
- NBC’s Christmas in Rockerfeller Center earned a 1.9 rating and scored 9.37 million viewers.
