Tuesday TV Ratings: NEW GIRL Rises with Season Finale; AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Drops

TV ratings for Tuesday, May 6th are in.  Here’s a brief look at the highlights:

  • The odd third season of Fox’s New Girl came to a close last night with a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.39 million viewers, which is up a tenth over last week’s episode.  Elsewhere on the network, Glee dropped one tenth to a series low 0.8 rating and scored 2.16 million viewers, while The Mindy Project rose two tenths to a 1.3 rating and 2.45 million viewers.
  • ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was down three tenths versus last week, hitting a 1.8 rating in the demo and notching 5.08 million viewers.  Read Evan’s recap here.

ABC

  • Trophy Wife also hit a series low, notching a 0.7 rating and 2.44 million viewers for a drop of three tenths.

CBS

  • NCIS was down two tenths to a 2.3 rating and 15.66 million viewers.
  • NCIS: Los Angeles, meanwhile, ticked up a tenth to a 2.2 rating and 14 million viewers.
  • Person of Interest was down two tenths to a 1.7 rating and 10.41 million viewers.

NBC

  • About a Boy ticked down a tenth to a 1.5 rating and 6.36 million viewers.
  • New comedy series Growing Up Fisher was down two tenths to a 1.2 rating and 5.22 million viewers.
  • The drama series Chicago Fire was up a tenth to a 1.9 rating and 7.01 million viewers.

The CW

  • Over at The CW, The Originals was down two tenths to a 0.6 rating and 1.51 million viewers.
  • Supernatural dropped two tenths to a 0.8 rating and 1.77 million viewers.
