A new trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has landed online. Directed by Bill Condon (Gods and Monsters), the pic stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Anna Kendrick, Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene, Michael Sheen and Kellan Lutz. In case you haven’t bothered keeping up, Breaking Dawn – Part 1 marks the penultimate installment in the franchise which is good news for fans and foes of the franchise alike.

As for the trailer? What can I possibly say about the Twilight franchise that its millions of fans haven’t heard and completely disregarded before? The acting is weak, the action looks cheesy, the writing is most likely contrived, blah, blah, blah, it’s going to make a ton of money. I had held out hope that Condon’s involvement would bring a touch of credibility to Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and while that may still be the case, I’m not seeing it in these 2:30. Check out the trailer for yourself after the jump. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 opens on November 18th.

  1. This is gonna be a two hour infomercial on why abortion is super EVIL!!!!!!!!!

I’ll say the CGI wolves are at least looking better but that can only do so much.

  2. agreed, hoping Condon would step up the Twilight game (if thats possible) but this looks much of the same. I always hated the dialog in these movies and how it was delivered (Taylor Lautner). I’m a big Twilight fan but I hated this book while loving the previous 3. Le sigh…. but don’t think for a second I won’t go see this movie opening weekend with a bedazzled flask of red bull & vod ka in my purse.

  3. as a moviegoer , i will say this i have seen worse movies with worse dialogue . So with Bill Condon direction i’m sure this last part of the series will be done right . As much flack these actors had to take from bloggers i’m amazed they are still getting job , then again studios don’t take opinions of bloggers seriously to choose actors they want , and thank god for that ! And honestly most of the people that are condemning this movie will be the first one to see it ..LOL , I know because i see them every time where i work . I’m sure it will be decent .

    • Err NO, we will not be the first ones to see it. Because these movies are absolute shit and represent everything thats wrong with the world of entertainment today.

      • You’re absolute shit. Look up the word “entertainment”. Different age groups enjoy different things.

      • Look teenage fan girl, when i was your age i liked great movies, not shit like the Twilight movies. So your age is no excuse to like this pathetic attempt at a pussy vampire movie. And no, i’m not 78, i’m 18 years old.

By the way, Vampires BURN and DIE in sunlight, not fucking sparkle.

      • Don’t be so high and mighty, so your in the small minority of teens who like great movies when they were in that age group. You just don’t have to belittle people who enjoy them for whatever reason.

  4. Still find it hard to believe this piece of crap franchise has such a huge fanbase.Just proves girls can never pick a good movie (or book for that matter).

  5. wasnt around when it came out
    love it
    still looking for my “vampire”
everyone wants a happily ever after
    suck it up
