‘Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Season 2 Trailer Recruits New Allies
The first season of Netflix’s Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events was delightfully weird. If you dig the adaptation’s aesthetic, you’re in for a treat because the first Unfortunate Events Season 2 trailer promises more of the same. Arriving later this month, Unfortunate Events continues the misadventures of the surviving members of the Baudelaire family as they try to stay out of the clutches of the ever-present (and ever-poorly disguised) Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris). Watching NPH don one ridiculous getup after another is one of the simple delights of this show, but the remarkable core cast and the rotating roster of guest stars make each episode worth watching.
Season 2 is expected to continue this trend when it arrives on March 30th. The good news is that the Baudelaire siblings (Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Presley Smith) will be getting some useful allies for once in this season, even as Olaf’s dastardly companions attempt to complicate their lives even more. Now’s a good time to get caught up on Season 1 if you want to figure out if LSASoUE is your speed.
