The “Liam Neeson Beats People Up” film movement continues with Unknown, the trailer to which has just been released by Warner Bros. After taking on slave traders in Taken and scenery in The A-, Team, Neeson now turns his fists towards identity thieves. January Jones (Mad Men), Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon) and Aidan Quinn (In Dreams) also star in the thriller, helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra ( Orphan). Check out the trailer after the jump.

Liam Neeson vs. Aidan Quinn. For me this is the equivalent of “You Had Me at Hello” or “I’ll Have What She’s Having” or “This is the Start of a Beautiful Friendship.” The man who almost played Lincoln vs. the man who played President Grant in that film no one saw or liked (cough Jonah Hex cough). Mano–a-mano. Face to face. I’m not being facetious when I say this is the fight I always wanted to see on film that I never realized I actually wanted to see. It almost makes me believe divine forces were at work.

Unknown hits theaters February 18, 2011.  Click to Yahoo! Movies for HD.

    Indeed.

I liked the old title “Unknown White Male” better, though. More memorable and practical in terms of a police description-type thing.

If Dr Martin Harris doesn’t exist does that mean he’s really Bryan Mills

Liam Neeson is fantastic in everything he does. The concept though somewhat Bourne-like is intriguing and full of ummm, intrigue!. Yeah that’s it! Intrigue and action, the way only Liam Neeson can do it, and make you believe the character he’s playing is a real person, and not some fictional made up character with a fake identity.

All jokes aside, this movie really looks like it’s going to be one hell of a thrill ride!

Liam Neeson really is a great actor and does choose the most amazing and entertaining projects to work on and this looks like another Liam Neeson winner. Can’t wait to see it!

I’ll go see this! Love his roles in Batman, Taken, and A-Team. He’s a great dramatic actor but he kicks butt. And he’s 58! Well done Liam! name me another 58 year old actor that teens and twenty something relish seeing kick ass at the box office! I grew up with a generation that knows Liam’s name from Star Wars. Then he made Kingdom of Heaven, Batman, and Taken, and by the time A-Team swung around us 22 year old Americans were going ‘Yeah its Liam Neeson!’
