Wondering what you'll be watching come 2016? No need. HBO has announced the premiere dates for three of its big 2016 television titles, beginning with the series premiere of Vinyl, starring Bobby Cannavale as a music executive living in New York City in the 1970s, with glam, disco, and punk in their salad days. The show, which re-teams HBO with high-profile collaborators Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter, the men behind Boardwalk Empire, will premiere with a two-hour episode, directed by Scorsese, on Sunday, February 14th at 9 p.m. EST. The show will continue in the 9 p.m. slot for the rest of the season.

Vinyl is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated series of 2016 to be teased recently, but it's not like HBO is light on quality content otherwise. Not only will we likely see the return of Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley in 2016, we'll also see the return of Lena Dunham's divisive Girls and the Duplass brothers' promising yet middling Togetherness. February 21st will see the premieres of both Girls Season 5 and Togetherness Season 2, falling into the 10 and 10:30 p.m. slots respectively. The latter ended its first season this past March and featured tremendous lead performances from Melanie Lynskey and Mark Duplass, who created, wrote, and directed the series with his brother, Jay Duplass.

Togetherness Season 1 ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, so there's plenty of questions that need answering as the new season starts, and that's similarly where Dunham's Girls left off at the end of Season 4, with Hannah (Dunham) and Adam (Adam Driver) seemingly taking another serious break and Hannah taking up with a co-worker. It's almost certain that there will be more drama between Hannah and Adam, but even more interesting will be what exactly Dunham does with the story arcs of Ray (Alex Karpovsky), who has become a local politician, and Zosia Mamet's Shoshanna. Considering that Girls has been getting increasingly insightful and funny as the seasons have gone on, the new season may end up being its very best, and Vinyl will likely prove a great lead-in for both programs when February comes around.
