We have all seen the marketing push that Disney is making for Tron: Legacy. Well, their 50th animated feature film, Tangled, is not exactly sliding into its November 24 release date unnoticed. Now we have 24 brand new images from the upcoming fairy tale reimagining of Rapunzel, and they show off the stunning animation from the film. We’ve also posted all the previously released images. So hit the jump to check out my favorite character, Pascal, and some images of the fantastic Mother Gothel, Maximus, and more.
Tangled hits theaters in 3D and 2D on Thanksgiving, and if you have not checked out recent Disney animated films, now is the time to get on board. The Pixar influence is in full swing, and 8-time Academy Award winning composer Alan Menken has provided some fantastic songs. Later this month I will be running a bevy of interviews, both print and video, and look for a full review as well. For now, check out these great images and the synopsis.
“Walt Disney Pictures presents Tangled, one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told. When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters this holiday season in Disney Digital 3D™, Tangled is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair—lots of hair.”
