The first TV spot for Jonathan Levin’s ZomRomCom Warm Bodies has debuted.  It’s a quick look at principal cast members Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, as well as some flashes of a supporting character played by John Malkovich.  Buzz has been positive so far, but you can decide for yourself when the picture opens on February 1st.

We also have a new TV spot for Sam Raimi’s Oz the Great and Powerful which clues audiences in to who’s on whose side by pointing out the good, bad wise and powerful characters.  There’s not a lot here in terms of new footage, but the opening release date of March 8th is still two months away.  Oz the Great and Powerful stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams.  Hit the jump to see the new TV spots.

Here’s the first TV spot for Warm Bodies:

Here’s the official synopsis for Warm Bodies:

A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

The official synopsis for Oz the Great and Powerful:

Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot–fame and fortune are his for the taking–that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity–and even a bit of wizardry–Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
