Earlier today I attended the press junket for director Zack Snyder’s “Watchmen” movie. If you’ve been reading the site, you see how we’re overrun with “Watchmen” news. Sorry, it’s a movie I really care about and I also know it means a great deal to a lot of you as well…
Anyway, at some press junkets – usually the big ones – the studio will bring in the props or occasionally a costume or two from the movie. What they do is put them on display near the check in desk so the journalists covering the movie can see the items up close.
So with a movie like “Watchmen”, which is filled with great props and cool costumes, it came as no surprise that Warner Bros. would put out costumes of Rorschach, Ozymandias, The Comedian and a few others as well as some props from the movie.
Since I know many of you out there will never see these things up close, I pulled out my flip mini camera and shot a 2 minute video of what they had on display. The only thing I need to say is….this was my first time using this camera and I wish I’d moved a bit slower. I promise next time I will. And if you’re a fan of Rorschach…watch the very end of the video as I have a great close-up of his costume and mask.
