The TV ratings for Wednesday, January 28th are in.  Here are some highlights:

  • Fox's Empire, which has been killin' it in the ratings these last few weeks (and making steady gains), won Wednesday night again -- not just at 9 p.m., but across the board.  And while this time ratings stayed on par with last week (4.3), it actually went up in viewership to 11.30 million.  It didn't have a lot of competition on the rerun-filled night, but still -- wow.
  • The CW's Arrow (read Dave's recap here) again held steady with last week's numbers at 8 p.m., pulling a 1.1 in the key 18-49 demographic, and 2.87 million viewers.  The show may start picking up steam, though, when it comes to an upcoming episode featuring the Suicide Squad.
  • Also on the CW, The 100 ticked up once again, nabbing a 0.6 rating and 1.61 million viewers (a 20% increase from last week).  The series was recently renewed for a third season, and you can read a little more about what big changes might be in store for it here.
