The Collider Weekly TV Guide is a rundown of notable episodes, premieres, returns, finales, and opportunities to catch up on great shows (or cast an eye to the occasional TV train wreck). Prepare thyselves for yet another round of summer premieres, and check out the list for the week beginning Tuesday, June 15th ( with so many shows later in the week, we’re skipping right over Monday!)

Tyrant Season 2 Premiere, “Mark of Cain” (FX, 10 p.m.) — Barry’s (Adam Rayner) life is in the balance after his failed coup against his brother Jamal (Ashram Barhom). But Molly (Jennifer Finnigan) fights for his freedom, as he becomes an important figure for the resistance. Review forthcoming.

Clipped Series Premiere, “Pilot” (TBS, 10 p.m.) — The workplace comedy, which takes place in a Massachusetts barbershop, stars Mike Castle and Ashley Tisdale. (Didn’t have time for this one on my schedule, so if you end up watching it let me know on Twitter what you thought!)

Proof Series Premiere, “Pilot” (TNT, 10 p.m.) — Jennifer Beals stars as a surgeon hired by a terminally ill billionaire to investigate life after death, near-death experiences, and reincarnation. Where is that job posting on Monster?

Wednesday 6/17

Deutschland 83 Series Premiere, “Quantum Jump” (Sundance, 11 p.m.) — This 8-episode 1980s spy drama (the first German language series to be broadcast in America) follows a 24-year-old East German native living undercover, attempting to enlist in the West German army to learn NATO military strategies. Review forthcoming.

Thursday 6/18

The Astronaut Wives Club Series Premiere, “Launch” (ABC, 8 p.m.) — This adaptation of Lily Koppel’s novel focuses on 7 women who bond after their husbands are chosen to go into space. A great cast, hopefully not wasted. Yvonne Strahovski, Odette Annable, and Joanna Garcia star. Review forthcoming.

Hannibal, “Secondo” (NBC, 10 p.m.) —  A great season continues to grow more twisted, as Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) continues his hunt for Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) by visiting his childhood home in Lithuania, where he makes a few surprising discoveries. Recaps post Thursdays after each new episode premieres.

Complications Series Premiere, “Pilot / Infection” (USA, 9 p.m.) — What would summer be without a USA series revolving around a complicated doctor? The two hour premiere finds Dr. John Ellison (Jason O’Mara) saving the life of a young boy, as he intervenes in a drive-by shooting.

Friday 6/19

Killjoys Series Premiere, “Bangarang” (Syfy, 9 p.m.) — A trio of hard-partying interplanetary bounty hunters are served warrants in the premiere, causing the three to race to save a friend and clear their names. Review forthcoming.

Saturday 6/20

A Deadly Adoption (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) — Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell star in this meta Lifetime movie as a successful couple looking after a pregnant woman in the hopes of adopting her baby (things, of course, do not go as planned). No screeners available to review for this one, but we will have a recap up after the movie airs.

Sunday 6/21

True Detective Season 2 Premiere, “The Western Book of the Dead” (HBO, 9 p.m.) — The new season of this anthology series takes place in Southern California, and begins with the murder of a corrupt politician that brings three law enforcement officers together. Starring Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, and Taylor Kitsch. Review forthcoming.

Battlebots Premiere, “The Battle Begins: Qualifiers Part 1” (ABC, 9 p.m.) — Yes, Battlebots is back! The rebooted series features fights between remote-controlled robots, although the new version has done away with weight classes, and will focus more time on the builders.

Poldark Series Premiere, “Episode 1” (PBS, 9 p.m.) — PBS’s latest British acquisition is a reboot, which finds the (swoon-worthy) British soldier Poldark (Aidan Turner) returning to Cornwall after fighting in the American War of Independence, and finding life back home vastly changed for the worst. Review forthcoming.

Ballers Series Premiere, “Pilot” (HBO, 10:01 p.m.) — One of two new HBO comedies, this one focusing on current and former NFL players. From the previews, think Entourage meets Any Given Sunday. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rob Corddry, and John David Washington star. Review forthcoming.

The Brink Series Premiere, “Pilot” (HBO, 10:32 p.m.) — HBO’s other new comedy, this one dark, is about a military coup in Pakistan, and what the United States must do to prevent World War III. Jack Black, Tim Robbins, and Pablo Schreiber star. Review forthcoming.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever Season Premiere, “Mouth Quest” (Adult Swim, 12 a.m. Monday morning) — The series will wrap up its 11th and final season in 10 episodes. In the premiere, “Abraham Lincoln’s Lunch Links are now available in Tough n’ Tenacious Teriyaki.” Thank God!
