Only four days to go until we finally head back to Camp Firewood with the new Netflix original series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,the mini-series follow-up fifteen years in the making, which flagrantly rejects all logic by bringing back the entire original cast to play younger versions of their original characters. As Amy Poehler puts it, "Everyone looks like they're playing their own parents." However, you can get reacquainted with the old cast right now, and meet some new faces along the way in the latest behind-the-scenes featurette. Mostly, you can marvel at just how much fun it must have been to be on set.

The cast of Wet Hot American Summer is like The Expendables of comedy, and creators David Wain and Michael Showalter somehow managed to wrangle the entire original cast, including those whose careers have skyrocketed over the last decade -- Paul RuddBradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks -- along with a bevy of fantastic new additions like Jordan Peele, Jon Hamm, Lake BellMichaela Watkins, Jason Schwarztman, and a whole lot more. Personally, I'm super excited to watch Chris Pine play in the absurd world of Wet Hot American Summer, since the actor has revealed a fabulous ability to get weird in recent films like Stretch and Horrible Bosses 2.

Check out the new featurette below.

All eight episodes premiere on Netflix on July 31st. The series also stars Elizabeth Banks, H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, Nina Hellman, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, AD Miles, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Marisa Ryan, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter.
