Is it just me, or does it feel like July 31st is taking forever to get here? We're only two weeks away from the debut of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, the Netflix mini-series follow-up fifteen years in the making, which flagrantly rejects all logic by bringing back the entire original cast to play younger versions of their original characters. Wet Hot American Summer was always one of those films you watched in disbelief, wondering how they managed to compile so many excellent comedic actors. That co-writer/director David Wain was able to lock them all down fifteen years later is a minor miracle, especially considering how many of them - Elizabeth Banks, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper- have become household names in the interim.

You've seen their amazing facilities, now get to know the amazing Camp Firewood staff with the latest VHS-style Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp trailer below.

All of the film’s original cast are returning, including Michael Ian Black, Judah Friedlander,Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio,Ken Marino, Marguerite Moreau, Zak OrthDavid Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter.

And, as previously reported, other returning actors are H. Jon BenjaminNina HellmanA.D. MilesMarisa RyanKevin Sussman, and David Wain (who will again write and direct, with Showalter serving as showrunner). New cast members will include Michaela Watkins, Jason Schwarztman, Josh Charles, John Slattery (Mad Men), Randall Park (The Interview), Lake Bell (In a World…), Jayma Mays (Glee), Paul ScheerRob HuebelRichard Schiff, and more (like Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig).
