Filed under “They’ll Make Anything into a Movie” is Phoenix Pictures’ adaptation of the famous guide for pregnant women, What to Expect When You’re Expecting.  The project now has a director as Deadline reports that Nanny McPhee helmer Kirk Jones has come on board.  Heather Hach (2003’s Freaky Friday) wrote the first draft for the romantic comedy and Whip It! screenwriter Shauna Cross did a rewrite.  The story will be done in the vein of Love, Actually and follow five expectant couples.  Hopefully Jones can deliver a movie that sounds better than “It’s like Nine Months times five!”
