Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for Roland Emmerich’s new action film, White House Down. The story follows a rejected Secret Service applicant (Channing Tatum) who must save the President (Jamie Foxx) when a heavily-armed paramilitary group takes over the White House. I haven’t watched this four-minute trailer because the previous trailer already sold me on the movie. It looks like loads of fun by setting up one of most unlikely buddy-cop-esque partnerships, and then blowing up Washington, but not in an uncomfortable, far-too-serious, Olympus Has Fallen way.
Hit the jump to check out the new trailer. The film also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Richard Jenkins, Joey King, Jake Weber, Lance Reddick, and Jason Clarke. White House Down opens June 28th.

Here’s the official synopsis for White House Down:
In Columbia Pictures’ White House Down, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
