Last week, Warner Bros. invited us to attend the press junket for The Campaign. The R-rated comedy stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as two politicians who keep finding hilarious new lows in order to win a district election in North Carolina. During my on-camera interview with Ferrell and Galifianakis, we talked about setting the film in the South, taking the movie to Comic-Con, memorable stories about politicians, Galifianakis’ future regarding stand-up comedy, an update on Anchorman 2, and the worst thing about working together (it involves peach juice). and did I catch a little improv at the beginning?

Two comedy superstars, and those are the best questions you could come up with? I guess you’re too busy writing award winning articles.
After listening to The Nerdist Podcast with Will Ferrell today, this interview makes much more sense. Apparently Zach hates these interviews and Will is not the fondest of them anyways. I admire Goldberg for trying to ask a nonstandard question or two, but the jokes/faces that Zach and Will made at the expense of his other questions/comments were quite funny. Good work at getting them to at least have a couple laughs.
Don’t think either of these guys are funny – EVER!
Besides that, they are creepy ugly, too.
