Saturday Night Live alum Will Forte has joined the ever-expanding cast of director Akiva Schaffer's (who has written and acted on SNL and directed Hot Rod) comedy Neighborhood Watch. Forte will star alongside Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Rosemarie DeWitt, Nicholas Braun and Richard Ayoade in the pic which centers on a group of adult males who form a neighborhood watch group for the real purpose of enjoying nag-free male-bonding time (an admirable endeavor, no doubt). As the story goes, the group inadvertently uncovers a plot to destroy the world.

THR reports that Forte will play a character named Sergeant Bressman in the film, but stops short of giving further details on the role. In addition to Neighborhood Watch, the actor also has roles opposite Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester and Susan Sarandon in the comedy I Hate You, Dad which is due out on June 15th, 2012. He can also be seen in Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise and Bryan Cranston on June 1st, 2012 and has a part in one of my own most anticipated films, Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, with Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, John C. Reilly, Jason Sudeikis and more. Neighborhood Watch opens on July 27th, 2012.
